I despise roller ball pens as they smear and when writing tiny it runs together. This is a real ink pen and doesn't run when it gets wet. Really like holding the plastic shaft as it has rings and you fingers stay put. I've been using this exact pen for years and when I went to replace them I could NOT find them locally so in comes Amazon, ordered another box and I should be good for another decade or so.I have a drawer full of pens at home, but still order these pens when I run out. In the past, I thought pens that look like this always have a fine point. Not so with these, they are medium point which, in my humble opinion, makes them easier to use. I also like the fact they're retractable so I don't end up getting ink everywhere. Highly recommend!Fine point, writes smoothly and comfortable! No blobs and very few smears. The only pen I use for Bible study.Pens are of a good size, shape and write very nice. The line made by the pens is thin and smooth with no jitters or gaps. I also work where there is a lot of grease and they still hold up in all the wear and tear. Has no rubber grip and instead has a textured plastic so they are more durable. Best ball point I have used.It was a nice pen but the only problem I faced was that there was a backflow of ink within the refill when I left this pen unknowingly upside down in my pocket but it did not stained my clothes. This could be a rarest of rare incident but still I like this pen as it is a nice penThese Pilot pens are my favourite writing tool. Not only cheap but also have a lovely rich blue writing ink. Massive fan.Finally found this here in the UK.. prefer fine point pens to write with( do a lot of writing in ITU) .Exactly what I wanted and at a acceptable price.
